We recognise that our business has an important role to play in protecting and enhancing the environment for future generations and to help secure the long-term sustainability of the hospitality industry.

To this end, we are committed to taking the following actions:

Achieve sound environmental practices across our entire operation

Comply fully with all relevant legislation

Minimise our waste and reduce our water consumption where possible

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle the resources consumed by our business wherever practical

Invite our suppliers and contractors to participate in our efforts to protect the environment

Provide all employees with the training and resources required to meet our objectives

Monitor and record our environmental impacts on regular basis and compare our performance with our policies, objectives and target

Communicate our initiatives to our suppliers and guests and encourage them to help us achieve our environmental goals.

We have Solar PV panels that take care of up to 80% of our electricity usage daily

We have Solar Thermal panels that heat our water for your usage

All of our bulbs are LED, reducing the energy needed to light the building

We buy locally, supporting the local community whenever we can (see below)

All of our towelling is dried using outdoor clothes lines rather than depending on electric dryers.

We use eco-friendly cleansers and detergents wherever possible

We use environmentally friendly hosting to host our website

Farm to Fork

While we cannot source all our food locally, we make every effort to minimise food miles where we can and use the best local ingredients available to us.
